Downer - 1980’s Modernisation

Overview

When we first spoke to Luke we had no plans, no budget and basically no idea what we were doing - but an immovable date of a baby due and a house that hadn’t been touched in 30 years and needed lots of love. It had all the hallmarks of one of those Grand Design episodes that ends in disaster!

Highlights

Luke was able to help us each step of the way from getting together plans through to renovating our entire home – no surface was left untouched across the kitchen, laundry, 2 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms including:

• Installation of new uPVC windows throughout

• Replaced flooring throughout including new tiles and carpets

• Reconfigured various rooms including knocking out various walls, moving walls around

• Everything painted, new lights and skirting boards/architraves

• No doubt lots of other things that we didn’t even know we had to do.

It is now basically a brand new house.
